This lecture will provide information on how to better recognize symptoms of the disease, and implement effective treatment. Also, this activity provides practical tools for everyday use: It will also educate on the importance of the Rome III guidelines for the diagnosis of gastrointestinal disorders and the important role healthcare providers can play in educating patients about IBS and its diagnosis.
