Recent advances in health care for women emphasize the importance of educating physicians and health care professionals in primary care about common conditions and needs of women of childbearing age, such as bacterial vaginosis, prenatal nutrition, and anemia. This supplement educates clinicians about prevalence, screening, diagnosis, treatment, and counseling for each of these 3 conditions.
