MEASURE BLOOD LEVELS NONINVASIVELY WITH THE MASIMO PRONTO-7
Masimo recently received FDA 510(k) clearance for the new Pronto-7, a handheld device that allows physicians to noninvasively test blood. The Max Sensitivity Mode evaluates hemoglobin, blood oxygen, pulse rate, and perfusion index and provides immediate electronic results. The palm-sized Pronto-7 uses a small sensor that clips on a patient’s finger and allows clinicians to quickly assess blood levels without venipuncture or finger-stick and the resultant wait for lab results. Various sensor-size options accommodate a wide range of finger sizes.
