Gundersen Lutheran Health System, a 400-member multi-specialty group located along the picturesque Mississippi River in La Crosse, WI, seeks an additional member to join our Dept. of OB/GYN.
Our department consists of 12 OB/GYNs, one Internist, 9 Certified nurse-midwives, 3 Nurse Practitioners, and 3 Physician assistants. Perinatology and Reproductive Endocrinology/Infertility are active divisions within the department; gynecologic oncology services are provided in a cooperative agreement with the University of Wisconsin-Madison. With our Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, we are able to provide high-risk obstetrical care to a 19 county area. Approximately 1600 deliveries are performed here each year, of which 40% are delivered by the nurse-midwifery service.
Available within the AIUM accredited department/institution are ultrasound, colopscopy, co-laser and advanced laparascopy. Gundersen Lutheran is a tertiary care center that is also the Western Teaching Campus for UW-Madison.
